Attached is a picture of the ministry that we've been doing this year.  Obviously the best ministry moments are the ones where we're ministering to our Mormon friends & neighbors, etc., but to take pictures during those moments would be counterproductive.  So here are some of the things that we were able to take pictures of:

  • Our church plant in general
  • Our church's first missions trip (to the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona).
  • The VBS that our church did as an outreach to the community
  • The service projects that our church did as a blessing to the community.
  • A playground that we built for the children's ministry of our church.
  • A block party that our church threw as an outreach for the community.

I won't be able to send all of these pictures in one e-mail, so they will come in the following few e-mails.

Thanks for everything you do for us.  Blessings!

Sierra Heights Fellowship

Falcon, Colorado

We are praying about potentially entering into a ministry partnership that would significantly expand the ministries of Sierra Heights Fellowship.  We are actually 'laying a fleece before the Lord' as one means to confirm His will.  Without divulging the specifics of the 'fleece,' I would simply ask for the prayer of agreement over it.  I am not trying to be coy, I simply need to know that the answer was provided by God, without me broadcasting the fleece in advance.

  • Small groups initiative this year - upcoming training
  • New leadership team: Youth; Children's; Worship - we are currently 'in conversation' with a couple
  • Five new 'missionary families' - I am beginning to recruit; pray for favor
  • Relocation of SHF: I am meeting with someone next week to explore a partnership opportunity
  • Funds to relocate: beginning to recruit more monthly supporters and explore above partnership funding plan

Thanks so much!

My dad is dying.  Hospice came today and said that he will die this week.  Pray for my mother and the rest of the family.  He is a Christian and has suffered a very long time.

After we received the above prayer requests from Doyle, Doyle's father went to be with the Lord.  Please pray for peace for Doyle and his family.

Elevation Church

Layton, Utah

Elevation Church is moving ahead with amazing new growth in 2008. God has really blessed the labor of the last year.  Please pray for our facility we meet in on Sunday mornings, as the cost is increasing and the new management has been hard to work with.

Couple of requests from Plum Creek...

  • God's continued favor in our community.
  • Great Easter Sunday services.
  • We are launching our Journey Groups on Easter Sunday.  Please pray that this will be an awesome experience for our church to increase involvement in small groups.
  • Continued financial provision.

In addition to the above requests, please continue to pray that God would send the Rocky Mountain District qualified church planters!
